Since joining the Real Estate Profession in 1992, Gena has helped hundreds of families find their perfect home in Squamish.  Her knowledge of the local market is unsurpassed.  After years of passionate attention to detail, many of her clients began requesting her help in purchasing and leasing commercial space for their growing businesses.  This natural progression has allowed Gena to become one of the most versatile Realtors in Squamish, making her the perfect contact for purchasing your family home, buying an industrial space, leasing your company’s new office, or residential project marketing.

Gena has raised her family in Squamish and has always been an active member of the community. Gena is also the owner of the Random Clothing Gallery on Cleveland Avenue, Board member of the Downtown Business Association-BIA, and has volunteered on the Squamish Oceanfront Development Corporation board for several years. She is an active member of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver's "Realtors Care Blanket Drive" and has spearheaded several local office organized collections every year ensuring the items be kept locally and donated to "Helping Hands", our local homeless shelter. Annually, Gena and her partner Andrew Laurie also donate a portion of their income to their chosen charity- Music Heals, which is a non-profit organization that donates to music therapy programs throughout the country.

Andrew Laurie

I have been an active member of the Squamish Real Estate community since 2002. Having left a growing career with Royal LePage Commercial Real Estate in Toronto, I made the move to the community of Squamish. I quickly fell in love with the people and activities the town has to offer. With an educational background and real life experience in business and investment, I noticed an opportunity for real estate development in Squamish. I saw the opportunity to develop higher end multifamily homes and was responsible for the rezoning and construction of the 36 home ‘Arbour Woods’ development on Government Road. My experiences with project feasibility, design, zoning, construction and sales give me a unique perspective on the Squamish Real Estate Market.

When not working, I’m hiking the Chief with my dog, skiing Whistler and our backcountry, and swimming at Brennan Park or Brohm Lake. In the evenings, I enjoy taking in a lecture at Quest University, and playing guitar or piano with my friends.

I am excited about my move to Macdonald Realty, and would love to share my knowledge and experience with people interested in real estate in Squamish. Whether it is a Commercial enquiry or finding a home, I have great experience in both markets.
